I have the Powell’s on the 1901 census, my 4x great grandmother is listed above the, Esther Wilson. Would anyone happen to know where the cottages were located
Evening Kathryn, the Powell family were well known here in Goonhavern. You have found the 1901 Census, the property in the photo is the cottage down at Silver Bow which is on Google search if you put it in. There is a campsite there and the cottages are still there as far as I know. The web site is https://www.silverbow.co.uk/ From memory Silver Bow here was named after a mining area or moine in the USA, Michigan from memory. I think one of the Powells went there and brought the name back here.
