      1. Your seventh in back row, third from Mr Curnow. I’m between you and Johnny Gaisford. I went on to Tretherras (NQY) Then on to Penrice (STA)
After finishing Secondary school I joined the RAF as an Aircraft Technician. I spent 30 yrs in the RAF and was lucky enough to have my last tour at RAF St Mawgan.
I am now happily retired and living just outside St Austell.

        1. Hi Gary, I must admit I cannot recall you, hence why I left your name off, I remembered all the rest of named kids. If you were at Tretherras again we missed each other as I was at Newquay Grammar School, until 4th year when they merged in with us and Treviglas into the new Newquay School about 1970. Funny how some stick in your mind.

  1. Hi just found this amazing site, I can help with 8th along back row it’s me!
Gary Bellman, very found memories of my time at this school. Started in infants with Miss Heather, then Miss Crabb and finally Mr Curnow. Was in Mr Curnow Flora dance team, we won it one year dancing through Newquay, Mr Curnow was over the moon!

  2. Front row right end is Belinda Harvey
2nd row 3rd along Kim Rickeard? and other end is Jacqueline Lidgey

  3. Great to see the old school photos again! some faces I recognised instantly, others not so quickly! Certainly remember Mr Curnow, his wife & daughter, Mrs Crabb, whose son David was my Dad’s best mate, & Miss Heather who was my very 1st teacher when I started school at the age of 4 in 1961! Fond memories! The school looks very different these days I must say!
