Wheal Vlow Mine – 1927. During the un-watering of the mine at this time, the pitwork of the 60in Cornish pumping engine which operated at this shaft in the previous working was hauled out.
On the left are old main rods together, with on the right, castings of door pieces and pumps laid out on the sand.
