That is actually the house now known as Perranglaze which is at the bottom end of the lane. The “Palace” was at the other end of the lane. The house on the right of the photo is where Auntie Dot (Dorothy Hooper 1902-90) lived at one time. This was knocked down in the 90s and replaced by the bigger modern house that is now there.
