Treamble Mine 1937

A further view of a tractor and scraper at work. The mine was served by a branch line nearly three miles long. This emanated from a junction at Shepherds on the Chacewater-Newquay branch railway but pre-dates that branch by many years. It originally formed part of the Cornwall Minerals Railway and was constructed in 1874.
