There is a small group of amazing people trying to improve the facilities at the Goonhavern village park. The group has had great success securing funding and things have improved vastly thanks to their efforts.
The park has been completely transformed. There is an awesome play area with a zip wire, climbing and swinging things and the local lads have built a pump track and dirt jumps. Something for most age groups.
The skate park section is still short of funds though. We need the help of everyone on this. If you have a business that could donate, have access to funding or you are prepared to get your hands dirty working on the park or get involved in the fund raising efforts, please get in touch via the Facebook page.

The park is opposite Bridge Stores right in the middle of Goonhavern
In October ’89, as a theme park consultant I took part in a workshop called Cornish Fayre. This was to create concepts for a World in Miniature at Goonhaven St Agnes. Has anyone local every heard of it? Was it ever a real project? I’d be interested to know.
