Mrs Mary Trenerry nee Clymo – Circa Early 1900’s
Mrs Trenerry sold candles and paraffin from her cart, her son continued to do this during the war. William Trenerry married his 2nd wife Mary Clymo in 1872 (maybe she was the daughter of Mr Clymo the Master Shoemaker in Goonhavern). They had sons William b 1874, Richard b 1878, Jabez born 1881 & Gervaise born 1886, he was a Grocer. he died in 1952. Gervaise Trenerry took over her round selling Paraffin and Candles, and delivering water to Rose, Rejerrah and Goonhavern areas.
