Does anyone know who the people are standing outside? Was wondering if it is my Uncle Tom?
No not in this picture Janet, I remember Tom sitting outside at the table reading the paper, a usual habit.
Most people reading this will probably remember my cousin Henry (Arr) Penna running this place. Remember going in there for fish and chips as a boy too.
Yes, its been through a few owners, Tom Hutchinson was owner back when I was a boy, and the locals lads and some lassies would congregate outside at night, from all around the area inc Perranporth. That was the case for a few generations going back in time.
