Yes it started to be built in mid to late 1960’s by Builders Hawkey then Hawkey & Penna, I think Hawkey was Builder of Carriage Parc too. Most of Rose Meadows was completed by early 1970’s but odd houses and bungalows have appeared well after this time. There are still residents living here and the first owners of the properties. I moved here in 1978, one owner before. If you look at the New Inn pics, the one taken early 1900 shows the Barn in the background behind Car Park of today looking up Rose Hill. There was a pond down in the corner of the field too.
Does anyone remember when Rose Meadows was built? I remember Anthony Tremain saying there was once a barn somewhere around here too.
