Twin Sisters Rita & Roma Jacka of Trenance, Newquay.
Rita Jacka was an accomplished Banjo player and tutor. Rita is shown here with her sister Roma and probably the trophy Rita won in the National Banjo Championships in London. Rita used to tutor budding future banjo players in the home of Fred Eplett in his front room in the 1960’s. Both Rita & Roma played in the Goonhavern Banjo Band and although from Newquay were well known and an integral part of the success of the Band over many decades.
