Joe Nicholls moving his cattle from one of his fields back to Churchtown Farm. This photo was taken before an entrance was made into his meadow from Bridge Road, roughly where you now go into Pottery Mews. Railway Houses in the background. In those days he would drive his cattle onto the main road and go in the front entrance roughly opposite The Gables, where is wooden fencing is today in front of Pottery Mews next to the old Masters Garage.
