Ex Goonhavern Primary School boy does good !! Colin Retallick of Goonhavern & now Perranporth resident has been nominated in August 2014 to become a Cornish Bard for his commitment to the St Piran’s Trust. One of 23 nominations from all over the world, Colin will be initiated as Cornish bards at next month’s Gorsedh ceremony at Torpoint.
Colin’s Bardic name will be “Tallack Treniow” (Colin’s ancestors’ surname as it once existed and the place near Padstow to where Colin has traced his 4th and 5th great grandfathers, today known as Trenio).
