When i was in her class (Miss Osborne ) at school she used often to tell me that she grew up at Treverbyn {Carnkief} , which is where I grew up.
I remember May Osborne as an old lady when she was in Longview Residential Home as it was then (c.1988). Think it was dad that told me that she said while he was talking to her, “I’ve been a naughty girl today. I’ve been fighting over the cat!” or something like that!
I remember as a boy May Osborne living over Halt Road neighbours to Derek and Alan Scott, and I think I am correct in saying she lived with Lorna Child.
