do you know if there are any lists of employees on the Great Western Railway undertaking please? my grandfather was a carpenter working for different railways and although I do have a couple of photographs of both him and his eldest son ‘at work’, I have not been able to find them on the register of Employees for railway workers. He actually went into The Bolingey Inn circa 1909 and the family finally left with Eric and Rose Payne retired, 1967. I do have the census for 1901 when they lived in a house on Droskyn but would love to complete the circle of finding both him (Charles Richardson) and William Richardson (son) as employees of the railway.
