My wife’s grandmother, Mrs Laura Ladell, had the shop in the 1950s, perhaps at the time this picture was taken. She and her husband Herbert moved to Cornwall from London, we think in the late 1940s.
Shirley farm is the larger thatch in the middle on the right. Just the corner of the Hawkins Arms is visable right at the far back right. In the front on the right is the thatch of
