Minnie Rice later married my great uncle Sam Glanville (1900-85). I also remember Frank Trevethan living in Rose when he was older and he would walk with one stick while you weren’t looking and then as soon as you said something like, “Hello Frank”, he would go, “Awwww”, as if he had pain in his back or something and then begin to walk with two sticks! I remember many a time as well singing in St Columb Choir with Horace White who was also a member of Rose Institute for a time.
