Lambriggan Mine – 1927. It will be noted that in the headgear there are two sheave wheels. The larger one is for hoisting and the smaller one for capstan work in connection with the pitwork in the pump compartment of the two compartment shaft.

The large boilered portable engine was supplying all the steam for the various functions at this time.
